What is Care Team Binder?
Care Team Binder is a private, shared online binder for coordinating the care of a child with special needs. It keeps IEPs, evaluations, medications, therapy notes, and appointments in one place, so parents, teachers, and providers all work from the same picture instead of scattered emails and paper.
Who is it for?
Parents and caregivers of a child with special needs, and the people who help: teachers, speech, occupational, physical, and behavior therapists, doctors, and family. The parent stays in control of who sees what.
How is it different from a shared folder or Google Drive?
A folder holds files. Care Team Binder understands them. It reads a document and pulls out the plan, records and transcribes an IEP meeting or a therapy debrief into a summary, tracks the therapy minutes the IEP agreed to against what is actually happening, and lets you share exactly what one teacher or sitter needs instead of the whole thing.
Is my child's information private?
Yes. You choose who sees what, down to the section. The AI that reads your documents works under a signed business associate agreement, we hold your child's records to the standard set for medical information, and we never sell your data. You can export everything or delete it any time.
Do teachers and therapists have to sign up or pay?
No. You can invite them for free, and they see only what you share. For a sitter or a new school, you can send a one-page summary through a link with no account at all.
Does it work with my child's IEP and school services?
Yes. Keep the IEP and evaluations together, record the IEP meeting and get a written summary, and track the speech, OT, PT, and behavior minutes the IEP agreed to against what is actually being delivered, so a shortfall does not go unnoticed.
What does it cost?
9.99 dollars a month, or 90 dollars a year, for a binder with any number of children. Everyone you invite is free. The first 30 days are free.
What happens to my data if I stop paying or leave?
Your binder stays readable, and we do not delete it without telling you first and handing it back. When a subscription ends, it goes read-only and we keep it for six months, emailing you before anything is deleted and giving you the whole binder to download. You can export it any time.
